GLASS STUDIO, BASED
IN BULGARIA SINCE 2018
At ARDOR Glass, we prioritise responsible practices that reduce waste, conserve energy, and extend the life of materials while maintaining the quality and beauty of our work.
By embracing reuse, recycling, and responsible craft, glassmaking can evolve in ways that are both environmentally sustainable and creatively inspiring. Reused materials, layered scraps, and innovative recycling techniques can lead to unexpected textures, colours, and forms. Combining environmental responsibility with artistic exploration allows us to create work that is both meaningful and contemporary.
Many glass offcuts and broken pieces can be reused or recycled rather than discarded, and in our studio, leftover fragments are carefully sorted and incorporated into new projects whenever possible. This reduces waste while creating unique textures and colour combinations, giving old materials a second life.
We also prioritise responsible material selection, sourcing high-quality glass and metal components that are durable and long-lasting. Using resilient materials reduces the need for replacements and ensures that our panels and installations remain beautiful for decades.
Beyond the studio, we extend sustainable practices to every stage of a project, reducing packaging, limiting transport emissions, and considering environmental impact in every decision.
